This PDG project seeks to both effect research and develop and refine the modes of research in partnerships between universities and Indigenous communities
Our governance structure seeks to find a balance between doing things that we are confident we can do that have value for partner communities, and finding ways to bring our assumptions about best practices under scrutiny.
Our governance structure addresses this by including an Advisory Committee of outside representatives to assess the plans of the project and the operations of the Steering Committee.
Our effort throughout this project can also be viewed as a series of four research tasks that invoke forms and content of analyses, all of which orbit a common view of Indigenous-led research:
