This course is divided into ten sessions, which is typically offered over ten weeks or as a short form over ten days. As we develop new lecture materials and associated resources, they will be posted here.

Below is a list of the content developed for this course to date. There are four kinds of content: 1) overview video guides; 2) lecture slides, 3) short instructional videos, and 4) templates and guides. Recordings of lectures and discussions are only available for course participants.

Places to go for Useful Information

The Institute of Prairie and Indigenous Archaeology at the University of Alberta has a list of very valuable guides and videos. Kisha Supernant and her team have created a great set of resources for communities. They also have an excellent page on the truth of this history and denialism.

The Canadian Archaeological Association's Working Group on Missing Children and Unmarked Burials also has a great suite of resources, including a complete video guide to ground searches.

We have build a set of one-page summaries of key technical issues as an introduction for communities getting started on this work. This includes a section on technical guidance as well as an illustrated guide to GPR by Eric Simons.

Equipment manufacturers often provide guidance for use and applications. We are using Sensors & Software gear, and their web resources are here. We have created a guide to the relevant sections of these videos for this work
